Students undergo JEE Entrance Examination training at Shrie Shrie Academy Full-time (1 year - after completing Class XII / for 2 years - after completing Class X) or Part-time (Weekend Batches while persuing Class XI & XII).

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (NEET-UG) is an entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in Pen and Paper mode, for admission to undergraduate medical education in medical colleges in India. NEET (UG) is conducted in 13 languages which include: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. (Source: www.neet.nta.nic.in).

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an All-India entrance examination conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E / BS / B.Tech.) in centrally funded technical institutions in India. It is conducted at two levels. First level is JEE (Main). Students who qualify JEE (Main) are eligible to write JEE Advanced. JEE is for students studying or completed Class XII. The exam include syllabus of Class XI & XII of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

JEE @ Shrie Shrie Academy:

Faculty members from different parts of the country with JEE experience train the students with concepts and problems required to crack JEE examination. For this purpose, the students are taught the chapters of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with clarity of concepts and several practice worksheets. During the program, students attend JEE mock exams every week with the chapters completed. On completion of the syllabus, students are revised thoroughly with several practice questions and full syllabus mock exams.

JEE (Main):

JEE (Main) is an Computer-based entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to Engineering degree (B.E / B.Tech) at National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions or Universities funded or recognized by participating State Governments. JEE Main comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to BE / B.Tech and Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch / B. Planning courses in India. (source:www.jeemain.nta.nic.in). Students can attend one or both papers as per their requirement. JEE Main is conducted twice in a year. Students can attempt one or both the sessions. When a student attempt more than one session in a year, best of the scores is considered for admission counseling.

JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

JEE Main Exam Pattern:

JEE Main is conducted in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi and English.

JEE Main Paper 1 is a computer-based test conducted in selected centers for 3 hours with 90 questions in total, of which students will attend 75 questions. Section A carries 20 MCQs and Section B questions are integers (student selects 5 questions out of 10). Student should choose one best answer from the four options given for answering Section A. For both sections, every correct answer will be awarded with +4 marks and for every wrong answer student will get -1 mark for the total score of 300 marks. Each subject has 30 questions of which student have to attempt 25 questions.

JEE Main Paper 2A is for admission to B. Arch courses and Paper 2B is for B. Plan courses. For Paper 2A and 2B students will attempt three sections.

Part 1: Mathematics – 30 MCQs out of which student attempt 25 questions with 4 mark each for every correct answer and -1 mark for every wrong answer (25 x4 = 100 Marks)

Part 2: Aptitude – 50 MCQs with 4 mark each for every correct answer and -1 mark for every wrong answer (50 x4 = 200 Marks)

Part 3: Drawing for B.Arch (2 x 50 = 100 Marks) and Planning for B.Plan (25 x 4 = 100 Marks)

Part 1 & 2 are computer based online exams and Part 3 is an offline exam with pen and paper.

JEE (Advanced):

JEE Advanced is a pen and paper based examination with two papers. Every student should attempt both the papers for admission to 23 IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIST Thiruvananthapuram, and IISERs. JEE Advanced is conducted by any one of the Zonal IITs every year. Application to write JEE Advanced is open only for top 2.5 lakh students (approx.) who qualify JEE Main.

Eligibility Criteria to write JEE Exam:

Student can make three attempts of JEE Main and two attempts of JEE Advanced consecutively from the year of appearing Class XII.

Educational Qualification: Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from a recognized board or university. Students should pass Class XII with at least 75% marks or be in top 20 percentile for the Gen / OBC category and 65% marks for SC/ST categories.

All India Counseling:

On Completion of JEE examination, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts online counseling for 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIIT campuses and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) based on the rank obtained by a student in JEE-Main or JEE-Advanced. For admission to NITs, students have a Home-state quota based on the state they appeared for Class XII.
